The Tsrifin military base was established around 1917 by the British,
when the British the leased land from the residents of the historical village Sarfand al-Amar
And established a military base on it.
The base was a central base for the British army.
In 1948 the British left the base and the Arab forces entered it.
About five days after the Arab forces entered the base, the base was conquered by the IDF.
Today the base is a large military base which includes several sub-bases separated from each other and operating in practice
Independent.
In 2015, the evacuation of the Tsrifin military base began by the Ministry of Defense.
As part of the preparations for the evacuation, the base was divided into eight areas that will be evacuated according to defined stages.
